Exactly, 2000 and back, African Diaspora were still living on the 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th racial mentality. I recommend for you to read " A elite do atraso" from Jesse de Souza. It explains how Brazilian society develops in the 30th this fake narrative about who we are as a society to continue to justify Brazilian society's inferiority complex and who to blame and hate for it. That fake narrative will justify all the cruelty and conservatism colonial mentality, you still see nowadays in Brazillian society. I know you probably are shocked by what you hear and see in Brazil from African diaspora and non-African-diaspora in issues related to race and you probably see why we are so backward as a society still, from the economic and intellectual perspective, from wealthy and more educated to the less fortunate and less educated people. It is because the hate, bigotry and structural and institutional racism were ingrained in people's mind by education (school) and way of social life. I really hope African-Americans are breaking this fake narrative and recognizing themselves and building an evolved narrative in Brasil for the commonwealth community in Brazil. To save Brazil from this backward stage they have been for so long with effect the sanity of society, cultural and education and economy. I believe this revolution started when Obama became a PRESIDENT OF USA AND THE MASSIVE ACCESS OF INTERNET, CELL PHONES, AND SOCIAL MEDIA. African diaspora in Brazil started to ask a very basic question. If a known segregated society with majority European diaspora with a powerful economic elected a president?! Why in a "social democracy" we are not?! All started there, I believe colonial mentality, you still see nowadays in Brazillian society. hi. I think it's important to connect with your people who are called Bantu. We need to connect with black people who are in Brazil. We want them to know who they are and how much they mean to us. You were taken as slaves from Angola and Mozambique and you are the direct descendents of Jacob (Israel) and we need you back home

They received the most slaves out of a the countries in the Americas but the population doesn't seem to reflect that for an event (slavery) that happened just recently.. 1888 right? maybe due to the mixing and the shipping over of the Europeans as a way to undo whta was done. My boyfriends dad is form. Eastern Cuba. We've always wondered why his last name doesn't sound very Spanish. His dad told him that after slavery and the revolution thus send over alot of French immigrants..

So now that Brazil basically has their own "Trump" as their president now, which was are things going to go????

They didn’t pay the tickets to my Italian / Austrian great grandparents. They sold their entire assets in Europe and they didn’t get free land. That’s NOT true.

He is absolutely correct. Brasil society is equivalente to the 50 and 60's.

It seems as if black americans are always trying to impose their ideas about race on other blacks telling them what they should be or do. Brazilians are transforming their country in their own way us outsiders have to adapt and respect their ways of doing things.

The worst thing that happened to African Americans was a European education and Indoctrination! It created the Negropean! That is a Black person with a European mindset and value system that’s devoid of self!
