So many Thanks to European and North American citizens (consumers of Brazilian commodities) the world is losing the Amazon biome (with very serious consequences for the climate), the wetlands, the cerrado and the Atlantic forest of South America. The Brazilian out right protests (9% of the electorate) have copied protests from the socialist left, both aimed at the latent interests of neo-colonial agribusiness that encourages political polarization between Bolsonarism and Lulopetismo, which distribute money and transport for their demonstrators to attend the pre-programmed events (approximately 100.000 people in the country's three main cities) to support the weakened government of Jair Bolsonaro amid the overwhelming economic crisis caused by the exchange rate overvaluation policy of successive agribusiness governments. Trump promised to surcharge Brazilian commodities (liar), but went to support Bolsonaro in Brasília, while J. Bidem pretends he doesn't see the trade and environmental damage to the international community. In Brazil there are 33 political parties and all are being financed by neo-colonial agribusiness in exchange for the exchange rate overvaluation which, in turn, is destroying that nation. Brazilian industries are going bankrupt because of industrial dependence and Brazilians have stopped eating the main exported products – such as animal protein – which are priced in dollars, thus, the socio-economic and environmental indicators of that country are going from bad to worse. Because you (consumer of Brazilian agricultural products), the Atlantic forest is being devastated to plant fuel (sugar cane), the cerrado extinct by the planting of soybeans (feed) and the Amazon forest is being divided and felled for cattle raising. The exchange rate parity with China, above all, is enabling the flow of mineral wealth to the Chinese empire. Because you!

Não á um político maís forte politicamente nas Americanas que o Bolsonaro, as manifestações do 7 de setembro foi o maior movimento nacionalista dos últimos 30 ou 50 anos nas Americanas.

Millions of Brazilians dressed in green and yellow shout for freedom and cheer the president. Other people who support communism and are dressed in red are not in the same place. They are small groups that are in different places.

Can Brazil survive Bolsanaro? Well if it has survived everything else so far.. How ritgh or wrong BOlsonaro is in his corona strategy can be fairly evaluated when all this coronashit is over. Until then its hard to say. I wonder if the same journalists and reporters would have been equally critical if it was one of the leftists favorits that had the same strategy?

From what I hear from many of my Brazilian friends across the Country, what you are saying is a full of BS. This is the corrupt MSM all over again trying to lie to the rest of world. Fast forward to the massive support rallies in favor of Bolsonaro in 07/09/20 and your little article crumbles. As far as Lula, he is a convicted criminal, freed by the Supreme Court in Brazil because they are feeling the squeeze from a sitting president that can’t be bought. I believe in the people of Brazil and you should expose the truth, not your political bias.

This woman dont know about Brazil, The economist must to send one of the worst report to potray Brazil reality. Our democracy never work well, to worse our Supreme Court is working against all nation putting in prision journalists, normal people who share their ideas on internet (jut the ideas that support the president), during the pandemic they were protecting and giving more power to politicians who were putting people in jail because they were not using mask or trying to work, while politicians stole public money making public hospital didnt support all demand for assistance. Here people are trying be free and dont see Brazil loosing wealth and people dying and been humiliated. This supreme court is trying deny our right to check our ballots, so its pretty possible here happen the same that happend in USA, people are desperete if Lula go to the power again.
Now after sepetmeber 7th, many brazilians that support the president are desapointed because he promissed go against this court and took a step back. The press here and around the world are saying what the people are asking and protesting is not democracy…
