Bolsonaro decrees program to offer broadband service in Brazil’s Amazon

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – President Jair Bolsonaro issued a decree making a program geared toward providing good high quality broadband companies to the Amazon area, in compliance with calls for made by the Federal Audit Courtroom (TCU) and forward of the 5G public sale tender discover.

The Built-in and Sustainable Amazon Program (PAIS) goals to deploy a high-capacity fiber optic transport community alongside the Amazon area’s rivers and metropolitan areas within the municipalities linked to the transport community, in response to the Basic Secretariat of the Presidency.

The deployed networks will enable connecting public institutions resembling instructing establishments, well being care models . . .
