Festivities celebrating Queen Elizabeth’s 70 years on the throne wrapped up on Sunday with the Platinum Jubilee Pageant, which tells the story of her reign in four parts.
The pageant opened with a military spectacle, honouring the U.K. armed forces from across the Commonwealth, including Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Pakistan, Ghana and Belize among others. A hologram of the queen during her coronation in 1953 was also broadcast on the windows of the Gold State Coach, waving to the crowds as the carriage went by.
The pageant then showcased British life and spirit since 1952, when she acceded to the throne following her father’s death.
According to the program for the event, the third act harnessed “creativity, ingenuity, humour and community spirit,” and will include the “very best” of Carnival, May Day, Mela, Fiesta and Mardi Gras to celebrate the Queen’s life experience.
The procession then ended at the Queen Victoria Memorial in front of Buckingham Palace. The monarch surprised attendees by walking out onto the balcony of the palace with members of her family to wave at the crowds.

People with all diana grudges ., i wasnt there but there is always 2 sides of story.. you shouldnt judge this woman and all she has done to make britain and all her countries better than many in the world.. she served till her last day.. she kept her promise.. she maintained peace in the world.. she was a mother.. a wife.. a daughter .. a sister .. a queen of 1/3 of the worlds population andshe controlled the situation for 70 yrs .. she gave up her dreams at 26.. come on people how ungrateful and unjust you are.. come to africa see what leaders do in just one term of 5 yrs., then you will appreciate of what a better world this mother did for all of you.. i love her just the person she was.. the most amazing and selfless woman of the century.. show me a perfect human before you judge her!

Wonder what Charles, Camilla and Anne are laughing about when the 70's float went by. In the 70's, Camilla and Anne were fighting over Andrew Parker Bowles and Charles was wanted to marry Camilla but mommy said no.
They say, Anne and Andrew are still good friends till this day and Charles and Camilla now married, so perhaps mom and dad don't always know best. How things would have been so much different had they allowed Charles and Ann to marry who they wanted to. My favorite part of the celebration was hearing the different drum groups perform – use to belong to a drumming circle and no greater high when everyone is in unison during a performance.

No other Monarch Reign is like yours. Its a pleasure to see your Children and Grandchildren.
