That would be an impressive window for us, with Botman, Targett, Pope and a great bunch of talents as well.
If we can get Paqueta then a loan striker that would be best if not then we may have to break the bank to get a good striker on along term deal. With the pair of them in the midfield supplying the ball to whatever forwards we have surely they can't fail to score goals. Quite rightly we have secured the defence then strengthened the mid field now we need good strikers to take advantage of the supply of balls to make goals. We can go every game without conceding a goal but if we don't score one we can never win a game that is a basic fact of the game.

Rob, I think Paqueta can play in a “false 9”. If Wilson is injured then switch to a “false 9”. No other striker needed. He will score more goals than a loan striker. Paqueta plus a right winger and we are sorted!

It would cost best part of 100 million or more to get those two, it would be amazing if they did but can anyone really see PIF doing that?
If Keegan was at Newcastle now this is exactly the kind of moves he would deem necessary to be successful, it just depends on whether PIF want to be that bold.
If Paqueta is willing to come here we need to pull out all the stops to get him it’s as simple as that. It’s like a domino effect where Botman Bruno Paqueta etc will make the club more attractive to others like Diaby. Granted Paqueta isn’t a right winger but it seems he wants to come to Newcastle and he will improve our chances of qualifying for Europe thus creating a snowball effect. Danjuma is another I’ve seen mentioned who might be tempted as he would like to play for Eddie Howe again.
Paqman is the player That excites me the most. He can also play right wing and AM.

I think we should be chasing belotti who is a free agent he is ideal as he makes Chris Wood our third choice and may even challenge Wilson to be first choice and this means we don't spend a transfer fee which can be spent on paqueta

I would take Paqueta over Diaby any day. Purely because of attitude because Diaby is French and therefore no doubt has his head up his own arse. We still need a striker though
