An evacuation order has been expanded due to an out-of-control wildfire on Vancouver Island.
The Mount Underwood fire is 1,391 hectares in size, as of Tuesday afternoon, and burning about 15 kilometres southwest of Port Alberni, B.C.
On Monday evening, the wildfire led to the evacuation of the popular China Creek Campground and Marina, which has 250 tent and RV campsites.
Drive BC says Bamfield Road is also closed, cutting off the coastal community of Bamfield.
Fire risk in the area had led the facility to ban fires on the beach.
Kylie Stanton has the latest.
