An explosion in the skies of Saudi Arabia’s Medina – which houses islam’s second holiest site – sparked panic yesterday. According to Russian media, a missile was shot down near Prophet’s Mosque in Medina which was fired by Yemen’s Houthis toward Israel. The mosque administration confirmed the explosion, but did not release further details. Yemen is a neighbour of Saudi Arabia and has been bombarding Israel in defence of Palestinians in Gaza. Watch.
