Police are investigating her death
A popular nutritionist and Instagram influencer tragically died after falling from a building. Diana Areas, who had amassed over 200,000 followers on the social media platform, was found yesterday morning (November 13) with cuts all over her body and rushed to hospital in a moderate condition, according to fire department reports.
The 39-year-old then reportedly left the medical centre without authorisation and returned to her apartment complex, as reported by NeedToKnow. Her body was later discovered in the common area of the Unique Towers condominium in Campos dos Goytacazes, located north-east of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Hospital Ferreira Machado confirmed that Diana had left the unit without permission. Her body was taken to the Legal Medical Institute in Campos at around 12.30pm.
Diana was well-known for sharing content about healthy living, workouts, and balanced nutrition on Instagram. She also took part in bodybuilding competitions.
The Civil Police are currently investigating the cause of her death.
