Dubai Airshow 2025 has set a historic new record, securing deals worth more than $202bn — double the $101bn achieved at the 18th edition in 2023.
The results reinforce Dubai’s position as one of the world’s leading aviation hubs and a key centre shaping the future of civil aviation, defence and space technology.
The 19th edition of the Airshow, ranked among the world’s largest aerospace events, drew 248,788 visitors over five days, including global experts, industry leaders and senior decision makers.

With more than 1,500 exhibitors — including 440 first-time participants — the event underscored its status as a premier international platform for aviation, space and advanced technologies.
This year’s edition welcomed delegations from 115 countries, alongside 21 national pavilions, 98 chalets, 8,000 square metres of additional display space, 120 startups and 50 investors.
During the event, Emirates placed a major order for 65 additional Boeing 777-9 aircraft and 8 Airbus A350-900 jets, valued at $41.4bn. This brings Emirates’ total wide-body aircraft orders to 375, with deliveries scheduled through 2038.
Flydubai also signed a memorandum of understanding with Boeing to purchase 75 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft valued at $13bn, reflecting its commitment to supporting Dubai’s long-term aviation sector growth strategy.
The record orders and commercial activity reflect not only strong confidence in global aviation recovery but also the momentum that Dubai Airshow continues to generate across aerospace and defence industries.
Space race
Further reinforcing the UAE’s ambition to lead in the global space sector, Dubai Airshow 2025 featured its largest-ever Space Pavilion, organised in partnership with the UAE Space Agency.
A two-day Space Conference brought together more than 50 experts and astronauts to advance the commercialisation of space technologies, address sector challenges and strengthen international collaboration.
The Airshow showcased a strong sustainability agenda, supplying sustainable aviation fuel for participating aircraft, deploying ground support equipment powered by electricity and propane in partnership with Jetex, and powering exhibition halls entirely with renewable energy.
Government entities forming Team Dubai ensured high levels of operational readiness, supporting efficient visitor flow and venue operations throughout the weeklong event.
