In our first dispatch from the 2014 World Cup, VICE Information headed to the preliminary match of the video games to be performed in Rio de Janeiro, between Bosnia-Herzegovina and Argentina. As the sport started, protesters marched in the direction of the Maracanã stadium and gathered alongside soccer followers. However as the sport heated up, so did the protests, and clashes between the police and demonstrators shortly comply with.
VICE Information was on the scene as one man on the road — allegedly an undercover policeman — accosted reporters, waved a pistol round, and fired a number of pictures.
