Climate consultants say a “bomb cyclone” is coming in too quick and too livid, establishing a climate whiplash for elements of North America’s West Coast.
The storm is about to drop 300 millimetres on California, which has been struggling by extreme drought and relentless wildfires.
The bomb cyclone may also pack heavy winds equal to a Class 3 hurricane, and the coast guard is on alert for waves as much as 9-meters excessive.
As Jennifer Johnson experiences, residents are bracing for the flash flooding, hurricane power winds and main mudslides.
